Wow, this was a long time coming...

First off, I'm sorry for the lack of updates and responses on dA. My computer has slowed down to a crawl to the point that I just don't bother using it. It may be a while before I can get back on, but I'll try to check in when I can.

What else? Well, as some already know, I lost out on 1-Dollar Fighter after the first round. That's not bad, though, considering that I lost by only a SINGLE POINT in a bracket with some incredibly talented artists. Besides, with my computer on the fritz, it may have been for the best not to continue in this tournament.

Sooooooo, I guess there's no denying it here in the Northern Hemisphere in which I live: it's winter. I look outside and it's grey, damp, cold, and dreary. At the moment I wish for snow so that the cold can justify itself. AND THEN IT WOULD BE CHRISTMAS!!!
Even though I really look foward to this coming holiday season, I gotta say, this year's going by FAST. I mean, holy cow! 2009's almost over! I remember when I was a young tot, thinking that a year lasted foooooreeeeeveeer, not just 365 quick days. I'm not getting any younger! D:

As comes with the impending holidays comes the post-Halloween video game releases. It seems to be nothing but sequels, with Assassin's Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Modern Warfare 2. I found the latter ironic as it was released a day before Armistice Day (Veteran's Day to some, Rememberence Day to others). What better way to celebrate soldiers who fought and died for freedom than by playing online war games with loud-mouthed 13-year-olds? Personally, I'm still having plenty of fun with the original Assassin's Creed, Left 4 Dead, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In fact, is anyone else still playing these? I'd love to play with them sometime...
In addition, Brutal Legend continues to rock my socks off, just in case I haven't given you enough Tim Schafer fanboy raving.
